Equipment Training
  • Fuel and Carbon cleaner may damage paint and other materials. Use approved fender cover to protect area.
  • Perform service in well-ventilated area and or vehicle is attached to approved shop exhaust ventilation system.
  • Use only approved vehicle throttle control system (EDR Advanced) for cleaning or physical technician control.
  • Before performing the service, rev the engine quickly three times every 30-40 seconds to a target RPM of 3,000. This will ensure that any fluid accumulation has cleared. If the vehicle revs cannot be raised above 2,500 RPM during the snap throttle or the vehicle does not return to idle do not perform service

ALL SERVICES ARE DESIGNED FOR ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT NON-MODIFIED VEHICLES

STEP 1

  • Add MOC preferred Induction product to the MOC CAT tool.
  • Ensure the MP #73491 MAP sensor adapter is securely attached to the supply hose.
  • Locate MAP sensor and remove from engine with two mounting bolts. 

STEP 2

  • Ensure the MAP sensor port is clean and free of any oil or debris
  • Insert adaptor into the open MAP sensor port. (yellow arrow)
  • insert MAP sensor into open end of MAP sensor adapter (red arrow)

STEP 3

  • Ensure Emergency Brake is on, and engine is free of any clutter.
  • Start engine and bring vehicle up to proper operating temperature.

TECH TIP: Failure to rev the vehicle during the service may result in SEVERE engine damage!

STEP 4


  • The adaptor will administer 12 oz of cleaner in 35–50 minutes depending on engine vacuum. When supply tool is empty, close ball valve, allow engine to run for 15 minute.
  • Remove adaptor and reinstall vacuum line. Reconnect the Valvetronic actuator.
  • Add MP pour in Tank additive to a full tank of gas through filler neck.
  • Immediately test drive the vehicle for at least 15 minutes to clear any residual product. Check for any service engine lights, clear any codes that may have set.
TECH TIP: Technician failure to test drive the vehicle after service may result in engine damage!
