SAFETY NOTES
• Transmission fluid may damage paint and other materials. Use approved fender cover to protect area.
• Perform service in a well-ventilated area, or attach vehicle to approved shop exhaust ventilation system.
• The temperature of the new transmission fluid must be within 32°F – 100°F (0°C – 37°C) before starting service.
• Check the fluid level before starting the service, and again after the service is complete.

ALL SERVICES ARE DESIGNED FOR MOTOR VEHICLE APPLICATIONS ONLY ON ORIGINAL EQUIPMENT NON-MODIFIED VEHICLES

STEP 1

• Raise the vehicle and locate the pressure test port on the transmission.
• Remove the test port plug using an 11 mm six-point socket.
• Install the MOC# 94792 adapter into the port and connect the MOC# 94898 intermediate hose to the adapter.
• Connect the Red service hose to the intermediate hose.

STEP 2

• Locate the fill port on the transmission.
• Insert the MOC# 94640 open hose adapter into the port.
• Connect the Black service hose to the 94640 adapter.

STEP 3

• Start the vehicle’s engine and check for leaks. If you find any leaks, turn the vehicle off immediately, verify that the correct adapter is being used, or secure the fitting and restart the engine.
• The machine will indicate if the fluid is flowing in the right direction by the “Start Service” light turning on.
• If the “No-Flow” light remains on the fluid is flowing in the wrong direction and the hoses will need to be interchanged.

Avoid spillage of hot fluid by disconnecting the service hoses at the larger dripless couplers. Disconnection at the smaller adapter couplers can cause fluid to leak.

STEP 4

• Add ATF Cleaner to the transmission.
• With engine running and parking brake set, press brake pedal firmly. Slowly shift through all transmission gears for approximately 2 minutes, then allow the ATF Cleaner to circulate through the vehicle for an additional 3-5 minutes
• Push the “Start Service” button. The service will continue until completed.

Check the fluid level per manufacturer’s procedure and Top Off if needed. Add ATF Supplement to the transmission.

STEP 5

• The “Service complete” light will come on when finished.
• The ATF Exchanger has completed the service, and the machine is now in Loop Mode
• Check the fluid level per manufacturer’s procedure. If the fluid level is low, push the “Top Off” button for 10-15 seconds.
• Recheck the fluid level and repeat step if needed. If the fluid level is too high, press the “Drain Trans Pan” button for 10-15 seconds. Recheck the fluid level and repeat step if needed.

Adjust fluid level to slightly below “full” to allow space for the supplement.

STEP 6

• Add ATF Supplement to the transmission through the dipstick tube. Use the Onboard Additive Dispenser if the vehicle does not have a transmission dipstick tube.
• After the fluid level has been adjusted, turn the engine off. Remove the adapters and the power cord from the vehicle and reattach the ATF cooler. Start the vehicle and check for leaks at the cooler lines. The service is now complete.
