Read instructions thoroughly before, during and after service. These instructions are generalized. It is presumed that the person using these instructions has basic automotive skills and experience. No automotive system can perform to its maximum potential without proper maintenance and adjustment to all its components.
SAFETY NOTES
• MOC Fuel cleaner may damage paint and other materials. Use approved fender cover to protect area.
• Perform service in a well-ventilated area, or attach vehicle to approved shop exhaust ventilation system.
• Inspect the vehicle for leaks or damaged coMOConents of the fuel system.
• If the vehicle has any existing damage or Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTC’s), they should be addressed and/or repaired prior to the service being performed.
• Pour the desired Fuel System Cleaner into the canister and screw the cap into the housing.
• Make sure the Pressure Relief Valve is completely closed.
• Install MOC# 72102 adapter and MOC# 73048 adapter into Fuel Bypass hose (MOC# 73055) as shown in the image.
• With the vehicles engine off, locate the fuel supply line connection to the fuel rail.
• Depressurize the fuel line per OEM instructions.
• Disconnect the supply line from the fuel rail.
• Connect the MOC# 72102 adapter to the fuel rail.
• Connect the MOC# 73048 adapter to the supply line.
• Start the vehicle and make sure there are no leaks prior to starting the service.
